  Great little place for exploring Bakewell and the Peak District! We really enjoyed our stay.

  We stayed at Butts Cottage over the May Bank Holiday and had such an amazing time. We really didn't want to go home!
On arrival, check in was straight forward... read more and easy as we were given the code to the lock box outside the cottage.
On entering the cottage, it was so lovely and homely (We had been left some home made brownies and croissants on the kitchen worktop plus milk in the fridge).
The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, the bed is very comfy.
It's in a great location, a few minutes walk into the town, where there are lots of shops and places to eat. I would recommend the Woodyard and the Peacock for food.
The cottage is in a great place if you enjoy walking. We went on 3 local walks over the 3 days, covering around 40 miles of the area (which is stunning).
I would highly recommend staying at Butts cottage. We will definitely be returning soon!

  Butt Cottage is located a 5 minute walk into the centre of Bakewell. The cottage was warm, cosy and well equipped. Tom was very communicative and tries hard to offer... read more a good service including providing some fresh provisions on our arrival such as milk, croissants and home made brownies. These were very welcome. Only slight drawback is lack of parking. We will definitely stay again.

  The accommodation was excellent and just as described. Everything was perfect from the towels, bedding, to the kitchen equipment. The little touches were perfect, we were left croissants, brownies, jam... read more and milk. It is so central and just a few minutes walk to lots of pubs and restaurants. The recommended rover parking was brilliant. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. Thank you.
