... read more /> The cottage was fantastic, as described. Great location, really easy to walk into centre of Bakewell but peaceful spot. Everything was perfectly clean and in great condition. Bed and pillows were really comfy.

All the little touches made this a great visit - from the croissants, brownies and pint of milk in the kitchen to the glasses of water by the bed. It is clear Tom puts a lot of effort and care into this Airbnb - would definitely stay here again.

The... read more cottage is easy walking distant to centre of Bakewell , plenty of pubs, takeways , slight hill on way back. Free car parking can be found in the next street although we chose to park in the main long stay car park. Would recommend.

  Great little place for exploring Bakewell and the Peak District! We really enjoyed our stay.

  We stayed at Butts Cottage over the May Bank Holiday and had such an amazing time. We really didn't want to go home!

On entering the cottage, it was so lovely and homely (We had been left some home made brownies and croissants on the kitchen worktop plus milk in the fridge).
The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, the bed is very comfy.
It's in a great location, a few minutes walk into the town, where there are lots of shops and places to eat. I would recommend the Woodyard and the Peacock for food.
The cottage is in a great place if you enjoy walking. We went on 3 local walks over the 3 days, covering around 40 miles of the area (which is stunning).
I would highly recommend staying at Butts cottage. We will definitely be returning soon!

These were very welcome. Only slight drawback is lack of parking. We will definitely stay again.
