Is quite... read more a narrow private road so we unpacked fairly rapidly. The cottage was perfectly clean, cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed for a few days away. Shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs are a short stroll away. We enjoyed a Chinese takeaway (Eastern Court) and a couple of pints at real ale bar -The Joiners Arms. Aldi and Co-op are nearby for hillwalking fodder or cottage supplies. A perfect base for relaxing, enjoying Bakewell or bagging Peak District Ethels. Thanks again. Ed

Overall we had a really comfortable stay and would definitely recommend.
